This parcel is in the middle of the island, adjourned to the east by the Hundred Acre Woods. It was given to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife by David and Vivian Parker in January 1975, and then transferred to PILP in 2005 where it remains in a natural and undeveloped state to conserve wildlife habitat and benefit the public.
· A large wetland complex which covers the eastern and southern portions of this preserve.
· 4 natural community types were identified on Parker Wildlife Preserve: Spruce-Fir Forest, Early Successional Forest, Red Maple Swamp and Grassy Shrub Marsh.
